Everyone has a different opinion on everything from how your burger should be cooked to ketchup or mustard, and then all the way up to politics.And no matter your thoughts of this election, voting in general, or the current candidates... you have to appreciate what we have in this country vs. most other countries in the world. So many people don't have the ability to express their opinion in government.
Whether you call us a democracy or a republic (yes, there's a difference), it is still a wonderful thing. We have a vote, a voice, and a chance at something resembling the will of the people.
While this body chooses not to form an opinion and express it to its readers, that doesn't mean YOU can't have one and exercise it.To those who think "it won't matter". You're wrong. On average at least 1/3 of voters don't turn out. Why? I have no idea and the press & politicians go round & round about it. But the point is that if 1/3 picked one side and 1/3 picked the other side. Just imaging the impact the non-voting 1/3 could have! Wow!! That would swing it either way completely.
I don't care what you think. But I DO want you to show it.It's really that simple. You get one vote, make it count.
